AngieHibbert

Angie qualified from the University of Bristol. She spent 4 ½ years in small animal practice, before returning to Bristol to undertake an international Cat Care residency in feline medicine. She achieved the European Diploma in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2008 and became a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Feline Medicine in 2010. Angie enjoys all aspects of feline internal medicine and is the clinical lead in Feline Medicine at the prestigious Feline Centre at Langford Vets, part of the University of Bristol Veterinary School. Angie has been training residents for European specialisation for more than 12 years.

Angie dedicates much of her clinical and research time to feline hyperthyroidism and is renowned for her experience with this disease. She has led the radioiodine treatment unit at Langford Vets, one of the pioneers’ centres in the world, for many years. Angie has published widely in the field of feline hyperthyroidism and some of her research studies have been key in the understanding of the disease and its treatment.
